Right now, we’re looking for 4 Duty Managers to join our Auckland team. If you love fast-paced service, working with people, and leading from the front, read on!
What you’ll bring:
- 3+ years’ hospitality experience and are confident leading a team while ensuring compliance with NZ Liquor Licensing laws.
- A current LCQ and Manager’s Certificate.
- Confidence managing shifts and ensuring compliance with NZ liquor laws.
- You’re no stranger to flexible hours across a 7-day roster, including weekends.
- A passion for creating outstanding customer experiences.
- Great communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coach and support others.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supervising daily operations and leading the team across all service periods.
- Maintaining compliance with NZ liquor licensing laws and health & safety regulations.
- Focusing on wage and cost of goods (COG) targets to support profitability and ensure resourcing aligns with sales activity.
- Opening and closing the venue, cashing up, and completing operational reporting.
- Actively supporting team development and service training.
- Engaging with guests, managing complaints, and ensuring the venue maintains a high standard of presentation and service.
- Contributing to the delivery of venue targets, team incentives, and company initiatives.
